Third Annual NEFAR HungerFight

September 19 is the rescheduled date for NEFAR’s 2019 HungerFight meal-packing event (was previously May 1)

For the third year, NEFAR is partnering with HungerFight to provide meals to hungry children and families locally. $25,000 must be raised for the food and 300+ volunteers are needed for the meal-packing event.

Please support #NEFARGoodWorks by donating, volunteering for the food-packing event, or both. Donations are tax deductible.

September 19: Check in at 8:30 a.m., concludes roughly 1 p.m., pizza for all afterward.

With 1 in 7 people (1 in 5 children) affected, hunger is a very real problem in Northeast Florida. Not limited to panhandlers or vagrants, it also affects families or individuals. Hunger robs people of not only physical and mental health, but also clarity, purpose and respect.

A NEFAR Community Affairs Event: #NEFARGoodWorks

  • Individual donors receive recognition under individual name only.
  • Groups/Companies who want to donate and receive recognition as a Group/Company may do so by making one donation only (online or check) under the Group/Company name. Individual donations will not be combined for recognition or tax purposes.

$249 or Less and all event volunteers-

  • Name / donation amount and/or volunteer name on NEFAR.com event page after event completion.

$250 to $499 –

  • Name / donation amount on NEFAR.com event page at time of payment.
  • Pre- and post-event recognition via Facebook and Twitter posts and sponsored ads pointing to NEFAR.com event page.

$500 – $999 –

  • Name / donation amount on NEFAR.com event page at time of payment.
  • Pre- and post-event recognition via Facebook and Twitter posts / Tweets and sponsored ads that point to NEFAR.com event page.
  • Name / donation amount in “Thank You” event wrap-up email to all NEFAR members.

$1000 or more –

  • Everything listed in $500 level, PLUS;
  • Name on “Thank You” sign at event entrance. Donation must be made by April 24 to be included on sign.

An individual boosted “Thank You” Facebook ad from NEFAR, to run for seven days.

Special Team Muscle Recognition: In addition to what is listed in $249 or Less and All Event Volunteers, NEFAR will place a boosted “Thank You” Facebook ad, to run seven days, including a group photo of Team Muscle.
